BBM activity during the night
 

My daughter uses BBM and although she does not use it during the night there is regular BBM activity showing on the bill (s they're free, I'm not concerned about the cost but what the messages are). Some messages are exactly 15 minutes apart and some are exactly an hour apart.

Last night (GMT) there was activity at:

BBM sends/receives data from the RIM servers on a regular basis. It is just BBM checking in with the servers and sending/receiving updates on statuses and avatars. This is normal behavior.

BBSuperAbuser - thanks for that. Is there a setting on the Blackberry that can set how often the unit contacts the servers?
