Hi, I am a new user and have 2 questions:

1.How do I get rid of, or edit, the 'sent from my Blackberry...' at the bottom of emails I send?

2. Is there a way of locking the input language when writing emails? Mine keeps going to Afrikaans!

Are you using BIS or BES? If BIS, go to your provider's Blackberry portal. There, you'll be able to change settings, including this one (unless your provider requires it). For example, I just go to sprint.blackberry.com, login, and I'm allow to change this.

I'm not a BES user, so I'm not sure how to change that. I'm guessing (BES users, correct me) that this is something that your company configures.

2. In your Options > Language disable the Language Input shortcut of Alt + Enter.

Thanks, but in 'edit', the 'Sent from my Blackberry wireless device' message is not in a box so I cannot edit or delete it. Any ideas?

sign in to your BIS site from your PC, not the BB.
