Freezing issue

Hi I'm a newbie I have an 8900 and was working fine earlier today. Then i tried to unlock it and it wouldn't unlock. I've had the battery out a fair few times but it just loads up to the set up wizard and freezes. My partner has pulled it apart and cleaned it out and still nothing :-(

Has anyone had this issue or know how to solve it?

Wiping and reloading the OS would have been a better move. If your partner managed to put the device back together without messing anything up, give that a try.
