So far I have not found any major differences between this and the last version. It seems to work although the time to get a GPS seems to be longer than before. I don't know if that is a real change or if it was a function of satellite location relative to me.

Google Maps v4.5.1 worked great on my Storm 9530.

(n) v4.5.2 is USELESS.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled v4.5.2 several times with different malfunctions each time. I'm running Verizon 5.0.0.328. Does anyone know where to download v4.5.1?

1. New: I read and noticed that with 4.5.2 you now can filter by Distance and Ratings your list(#) of search results.
2. Problem: I however do not know how to change the units from miles to kilometres, I do not understand non-metric units.
3. Problem: Is there a way to link onather browser say Opera Mini to show "More details" other than the slow built in default Blackberry browser.

I wish Google put the most used feature that allowed you to rename your favorites (Starred) instead of just saving it and later on guessing what it was.

I've used various versions of Google Maps for Blackberry for a number of years, and have always been pleased with its value and functionality. With v 4.5.2 it's taken a big step backwards. I'm speaking of the balloon that shows "My Location Accurate to XX meters." In previous versions the balloon would go away, allowing the arrow to merrily progress along it's route. Now the balloon stays there...forever...and blocks the view (especially annoying when you're traveling North).

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, do you know a solution? Or access to a previous version, like 4.4?
