Bluetooth pairing issues

my 7290 paired perfectly in my 2005 Range Rover and now when i attempt to pair my 8700c it sees the the connection and asks for the code i type in the code and it responds with unable to pair device. anybody ideas?

Delete the 7290 from the paired device list on the Range Rover. Start a new pairing process with the 8700, it worked for me on my MDX...

thanks, not sure how to delete the paired device from the vehicle will hhave to study the manual... :del:

Might be defective. Mine was. I had problems pairing or staying connected with several devices. Just got my replacement 8700 and life is good again.
