Need Urgent Help With Bbm :(

i registered bbm in manila philippines and used it there, when i got to taipei i called and they informed me of the per kilobyte charge. first question is, i havent opened bbm in taipei, but am i constantly being charged for it? lastly, about how big is a message?

A one-line message, no graphics, should be 2kb or so. Very small.

If you're being charged for international roaming data, it's not BBM if you're not sending/receiving any messages.
