What is name of screen that pulls up recents when BB menu button held?
 

Hi, everyone!

When I hit and hold the BB menu button for a bit, a sort of "recently-used" popup comes up on the screen. I was wondering what this was called.

Also, can you customize that to show 4 _static_ items rather than your latest used? I could really use shortcuts to my 4 most used items since I never liked the buttons on the sides and disabled them right off. I was always accidentally triggering things when just holding the Pearl. So this popup menu fits the bill but only if I can make the same 4 items available.

Not sure it has a name. Maybe the switch application screen. I used to call it the ribbon, but seems nobody else calls it that.

But it doesn't show recently used. It shows running apps. And you can't customize it.

It is called switch application function.

Switch applications
1. In any application, press the Menu key.
2. Click Switch Application.
3. Perform one of the following actions:
If the application that you want to switch to appears, highlight an application and press the Enter key.
If the application that you want to switch to does not appear, highlight Home Screen and press the Enter key.
