Re: Big Mess!!!
Downloading an application should not have that big an impact on your device performance.
I would also provide more help; What app was installed, was it installed from App World, have you performed a battery pull, or a soft reset Alt+Right Shift+Del? |
Re: Big Mess!!!
Also, please wait more than two minutes before bumping your own thread. It's rude, and the it was the middle of the night in most of the North America.

Re: Big Mess!!!
Do you have a BB data plan active on your account with your current cell carrier?
Have you tried a battery pull? 1st step to take if device is having problems? - BlackBerryFAQ |
Re: Big Mess!!!
There exist improperly built apps that monopolize the CPU or take a lot of memory, leaving other apps little to work with. Maybe you can tell us which apps these are.
You can see which apps are currently running by pushing and holding the "BlackBerry" (menu) button. Normally you should see the messages, "home", browser, BBM and phone apps and nothing more. Close the others (you don't need actively running). Otherwise, try pulling the battery out (and then placing it back in) to force-stop any rogue apps, then see how the device behaves. If it behaves well, it is one of these apps. If not, there is still a chance that it is some sort of an integrated app that starts with the device - try uninstalling (those). |

Re: Big Mess!!!
Perhaps it's time to think of sending it in to be looked at?
I have had device performance issues in the past and could almost always trace it back to a bad upgrade, or app install. Short of you actually remembering when your issues started to appear, and what you may have done to your device, send it in to have someone look at it. |
Re: Big Mess!!!
Why not just delete the apps that you installed and see if the problems go away?
