BB Without Data Plan!!
 

Hey,

I got the BB 8520 as a present for my birthday but without a service provider.. i got the phone from Germany and i am currently in the UK using Lebara Mobile as carrier..

Can i still somehow use BBM?? or skype on my phone without the BB data plan?? if not, where can i get this from? do i have to pay BB something in order to get the data plan??

I have WI-Fi at home and at Uni and almost everywhere i go..

No Skype at all....

You get a BlackBerry data plan from your cell service provider.

Never heard of Lebara Mobile before.
Any, they dont offer blackberry data plans.
They barely offer a data plan.

I just looked them up... seems to be a pay as you go type deal. Looks like TracFone here in the US.

The best I can translate, that is what they meant.

If you change carriers, yes, you can get the BlackBerry Data Plan.

Wouldn't it be easier to just call Lebara Mobile and ask them?
