I cannot send and read messages

I've a blackberry storm 9500, i had the last OS installed, but i decided to instal the newest version of OS following the instructions of this community.

My problem is : with this new OS (5.0.0...) that I've installed, I cannot read and send SMS.

Help me.

SMS is generally a phone issue.

Battery pull might fix it. Also resend your service books.

Last resort is call your carrier "Nothing".

Ahha - some real information. PIN: FFFFFFFFF indicates that the phone has a hardware problem or has been tampered with by software...

f I install version 4.7.0.173, all is well with SMS, only I can not to get to the Internet because the Internet access protocols for this version are already expired.

If I install other versions above, I can no longer read or write text messages, unless I remove the SIM card. With these versions, I go on the Internet but with serious confusion.
