Bold repair Facility

I have a Bold, purchased from ebay to replace my original Bold that went swimming (the swimming bold still works, but leery of the extent of the water damage...so i use it as a spare..), that needs repair.

It's (to clarify the ebay Bold, not the swimming Bold..:)..) got intermittent audio, definitely an intermittent issue in the fone itself, and holding the cover tight in just the right place gets old. It's also got a loose cover latch, but that is minor compared to the audio issue. Bottom line, it needs some repair.

I've done some googling for repair services, but wanted to get some insight from the experts on the board as to who is the best to go to...this is more than just replacing a trackball or fixing a keyboard, and that seems to be the standard repair most offer.

any suggestions?

www.horizonwirelessonline.com
Top notch expertise top notch customer service!

I did a posting search, and I did look at horizon..but honestly, as cluttered as the website is, and the fact they are in canada, steered me elsewhere.

Do you work for them..or have previously used them, or..?

They are sponsers of the forums.
They do alot of the unlocking for members, as well as other blackberry related things.
Trackball changing etc.

I do not work for them!
I have sent many devices to them and been very happy each and everytime!
The owner is top notch.
Anytime I have had a question they answered promptly.

I have used other services around and frankly have had less than average experience, in fact was told by one that my BB wasn't repairable. Horizon fixed it!

I too have used other services and have NOT found anything better, one of my devices are there as we speak. It cost me 10 bucks to ship from Oklahoma and take ups about a week to get there. The fact that I use Horizon Wireless is because of there customer service, you will not find anyone better, more honest and friendly than them. Repairs are what they do, sales on new devices and phone related products.

I'll recommend Horizon as well.

I've sent Horizon 2 emails from their website, no response. Anyone have an email address for their service dept that gets response?

I'm sorry sir. I don't think I'm getting all emails from site. I'm very sorry.. When did you send the emails? They never made it this way. We answer all emails. Give us a call if you can tomorrow

And for the record we answer all emails within 10 minutes. I don't think they ever came this way. I have a feeling site was maybe down for Maintenance. Most likely server was being worked on. Again very sorry.

DonFL 11-02-2009 09:40 PM

Just sent you a PM.

Sent the two messages over a week's time. Both times, the message appeared to go thru, said I would get a response. Seems pretty coincidental that it would be server maintenance two different times..:-?

DonFL 11-02-2009 09:43 PM

as a test, just sent you an email the same way i sent the first two from your website. directed it to repairs. let me know if you receive it.

No idea. Repair tab you are clicking is not coming to us. I do apologize. All other emails to sales, service, and wholesale are coming through. Again, very sorry

Horizon Wireless isn't in the web design business, they do cellular repairs, I understand that first impressions mean a lot but it is something that just happened. I challenge you to find one, just one negative feedback on ANY forum about horizon wireless, you won't.

never fear, we exchanged a couple PMs and have the details sorted out.

i don't believe i said a negative word about their service..in fact, i'm sending my device to them for repair. and hopefully, they can get the bug worked out on their website so others won't have the same experience i did.

you'll note my request was for an email address that would get to them, so i COULD give them my business.

thanks for the insight on their services, it's obvious you are a huge supporter and defender of theirs, and i'm sure they appreciate that.

i'm expecting that once i get mine back, repaired, i'll feel the same way.

I didn't mean to come off that way, I just stand behind them 100%.
