Separating e-mail from e-mail inbox and SMS inbox?
 

Hi, I'm new to BB and the forums. I just have a question regarding e-mail configuration. With my last phone (Samsung D600), I had a separate inbox for e-mail and SMS txt messages. On my BB 8100 Pearl, when I receive e-mail, it shows up in my e-mail inbox and SMS message box. I'd like to keep them separate. Is it possible?

Nope. I think there should be a separate SMS inbox but Messages shows all incoming messages (all email accounts and SMS/MMS).

hmm.. no luck finding a separate SMS inbox. Can you walk me through it?

I've only see SMS and email sepration in the ZEN theme. Check out the Themes/rington forum.

The Pearl ZEN theme does not have the separate folders like the ZEN theme on other devices.

My fault, I over looked what device he was using.

So, I guess I'm stuck :sad:

what i do is hide my 3 icons for my emails and just use the one general message icon. when you open the email, it will show which one it is from

grrr i had Zen on the 8700 and i had an email box and a SMS box and now i'm back to consolidation with the pearl
