getting a 7730 to work with Windows Vista and Outlook

Assuming I can get the keyboard issues squared away on this device, how would I go about using it with Vista and Outlook?

The 7730 says it has 4.0 as the OS. What version of Blackberry Desktop would I need to get? Also, when I hook this phone to the USB cable it doesn't recognize the device. Are there special drivers for this device? I have the handset cradle charger, just not with me. Do you have to use the handset cradle charger to sync the phone?

All I am trying to do is to get this phone working as a phone, text sending and recieving and corporate email sending and recieving. If I can accomplish those items, that is all I need a phone for.

I have scoured the BB site and they don't have much info on the 7730, nor is there a ton of info on the web. Can anyone reccomend a good site or reference material for this model, a 7730 for t-mobile, using on t-mobile network? Thanks.

Installing the latest version of Desktop Manager will install the drivers needed to recognise your 7730. You will be able to work with it from there. The charge cradle is not needed to sync, just a cable will do.
