bold 9900 now only rings once
 

for some reason lately, i can't get my Classic Phone Remix to give me more than one single ring when a phone call comes in. seems like in the past it would give me 2, 3 or 4 even. don't know what's changed. not sure i want to try some of the really draconian possible solutions, but i think i've exhausted changing the settings that might be relevant. i usually leave phone in Normal profile which will ring on calls, but just once per call. so frustrating!

Have you tried to change your profile to something like "Loud" or "Medium" and then programmed those settings for double ring? It's a stretch but it really does sound like a software problem and this exercise is to hopefully sneak around a glitch in the main profile settings.

ron, thx. yes, i did go under Select a Profile / Change Sounds / Profile Management / Normal / Phone and piddled around and found nothing that effectively got me more than one ring. maybe i'm looking in wrong place. i guess i may give up and ask our help desk if they could try

help desk fixed for me (thank goodness)

Change that I made to BB:
Options | Sounds and Ring Tone | Phone Ring Tone | Count 5 and Length set to Short.
