8700c Leather Holster (swivel and pouch) Update

We have been getting a huge number of inquiries regarding the OEM case for the 8700... [updated 04/03/05]

RIM/SPD part number ACC-10540-003
http://store.bizshopr.com/rimacc-10540-003.html

IN-Stock and ready to Ship

RIM/SPD Part Number ACC-10556-001
http://store.bizshopr.com/rimacc-10556-001.html

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>This case is NOW available

This is the same case as the above without the swivel belt clip. It has the flap closure and sleeper and everything like the above case. At this point I don't expect RIM to release a pouch without a flap - simply because this is their new format for all their case offerings. Take a look at the 7100 series collection for hints of future cases (color options).

Queued orders will be complete by Monday 4/10 and new orders shipped then as well.

Thanks for the proactive update! I must be one of the customers "in the queue", as I ordered yesterday. Can't wait to get it.

Thanks! :thumbs up:

Any chances the 7100 sport holster will fit the 8700? I have always liked the neoprene cases.

Not even close :(

That sucks. I have always like the Body Glove branded holsters. I need something rugged for work which still lets me get to my 8700 well. I usually dont clip it on my belt though instead its on the inside of my front pocket.

rcg, got my case. Must say it was a pleasure doing business with your company. Easy ordering. Several tracking emails. And on time delivery. Been waiting for this case for three months and you were the first to have it. I'll be shopping SPD in the future. (y)

Thanks.

We try hard to deliver the goods but I must say RIM is very challenging. Product is very random and they rarely pre-announce anything. Please come back and check out our new store front launching in about a week or so.

I have to echo the sentiments on this one BIG TIME, i havent been waiting 3 months, but MAN!!!!!!! i love the case alot better than the forrte case i paid ($54.00 ) for. Soon as it came I replaced my case. Alot less bulky. GREAT SVC... I must admit, i was a bit skeptical on ordering with no pic, but it worked out well.

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!! RIM the law suit is OVER make a DAMN OEM CASE...(y)

You do realize that the one from SPD IS the OEM case, right?

They sell RIM OEM products and that is what you got.

I'll check it out. Looking forward to it. I'm an accessories nut anyway, so it'll be nice.

Without checking your specific order data I would guess that yours will ship when the next 40 arrive (should be tuesday). You actually should have received two emails... one for the initial purchase and a second with the EST Ship Date.

I will have a look in the morning and get back to you directly.

I did not receive the second, just one.
