Answers with attitudes??

Just needed to get this off my chest. If you read this message, let me know if you have noticed people (lot of times moderators or old forum members) who answer questions with an attitude?
For example, if someone asks about security, they jump on the user for wanting to know how to unlock their blackberry becuase they assume they are trying to do something wrong or illlegal.
Or some people just respond with "NO"...no explanation or anything.
This dude on here by JSanders basically told me i should leave the forums if I didn't like it. I've been on here since 2008 and when I chime in to say that some people are "brutle", he starts sending me private messages that basically tell me to go elsewhere.
So i told him i would post a "poll" and see how many people would agree with my perception of some people being "d*cks" when they respond. Who agrees with that??

Gunny

Oh my...
I've read your threads. JSanders has a good point.

"brutle"?? What does that mean?

And no one has ever jumped on a poster for asking about unlocking their phone.

And anyone who posts using foul language deserves to be 1) called down for it and 2) then ignored.

What threads are those? I've primarily used this site to sell old blackberry's and to recently ask questions about my new 9780.

But okay...he has a point..yeah okay.

It's funny Jsanders was "questioning" some dude in BBM for wanting to check to see if someone still had an active PIN (or something like that)...he and others implied he was stalking or trying to spy yet this site sponsors Mobile Spy?? funny.

James, you think you're gonna bully me?
I do think you should leave this Forum if you don't like the way it's managed.

You don't like several moderators here, including myself, even AFTER I've assisted, answered and helped you. You're an ungracious person. You don't like it here, Yep, I'd recommend you move on.

You've been given a good place to sell your devices. Say thanks instead of cursing those who've helped you.

What's you're point, "gunny"?

You're a disgrace to those you've served with.

My point was that you and others on here come off being not so helpful to people who just ask questions. Instead of agreeing and taking the criticism, you get all butt hurt and start with your private messages.

I'm a disgrace? why because I'm trying to speak up for some of the people who get sharp, nonhelpful answers?? Yeah okay buddy.

At least I've served this country pal...even the worst serviceman carries more weight/respect than you.

Re: Answers with attitudes??

James, the private message to you was a warning.
A polite, off the public forum "warning" to tone it down.

It was the proper thing for me to do, instead of taking it public. I guess you don't appreciate that either.

You just don't get it do you? You're just mad at the world I guess. Well, you're not going to take it out here. We've been good to you, but you're ending that.

Will this hate and grumbling ever stop and let's all be professionals so we all can help each other. I do know that the interpretation of the english language could be the biggest issue because not everyone translates the way we compose it here in US of A. Recently there was a thread from someone and the person did not seems to have the Eng as the primary language but rarely or not all of us here understood his point.
I'm in no mood to argue or highlights mods or users but I thinks its always helpful if we can decend down to the support level and not to become the nosey nutts.
After all I have been using BB since 2000 but I still use this site oftenly.

That thread was NOT about someone asking about unlocking their device.

That thread was about a user wanting to know if they could access another person's information without their knowledge.

The OP in that thread was not supplying adequate information which made their request suspect.

And the other thread you posted was someone asking if they could "hack" their employer's security certificate. That kind of request is inappropriate here and threatens the reputation of this site.

jamesavila, you are wrong in this instance. And now you are impugning other people's character improperly.

as above, most people need to learn that if you want help, you need to supply all information that is helpful, it is common sense. Don't blame anyone else if you get answered the way you ask your question, period.
