BIS wont let me change PIN...

Had a Pearl and now a curve - when I log in to BIS and try to change PIN and IMEI, it says: "This info you provided is not eligible with this service provider" Huh? I have never seen this before.

Could it have something to do with the new BIS 2.3?

Call the carrier.
I had this happen a long time ago and it was a PITA to get resolved.

I had an issue switching mine over from the internet as well. Then I tried it from the Blackberry (Personal Email Setup) and it worked fine.

I'm sorry, how do you do it from the BB?

I am on BIS, Cingular, I don't think I can from the BB.

Appreciated, thanks

You can try it from the Setup Internet E-Mail icon.

Put your SIM in the new phone and let it tether to the Blackberry APN before you try and make a PIN change in BIS. This happened to me last night (exact same error message) moving from a Pearl to a Curve. Once I put my SIM in the Curve, and let it attach, the PIN change went right through.

No need to call CS.
