I have a 7100g and a Mac Powerbook. I am struggling to get my phone set up. Most importantly - I need to be anble to check my email through my phone. My email account is online through my university webmail.

Question: Do I use Entourage or Mac mail to set up my email?

When (if) I get one of those working, how to I get it connected with the Blackberry? Do I just have to run the PocketMac program?

I am really bad at...well all technology stuff. How do I just send a text message?

And finally, how do I change my phone so that when I type I just press twice for the second letter (rather than that thing where it tries to figure out your word)?

Any help that anyone could provide me would be so much appreciated. I am really trying to get better at all of this.

First off have you created a BWC (BlackBerry Web Client) account and logged in the setup the email account you wish to view on the BlackBerry? If no, start there first: https://webclient.blackberry.net/Web...ite=mycingular

Second to sync with your PowerBook your going to need a third party soultion such as PocketMac BlackBerry sync: http://www.pocketmac.com/products/pm...rry/index.html

new to technology and you have a powerbook??? lol. you went top of the line right off huh? to answer your question, using mac, you would need to use pocketmac to link with your mac. i personally use ical, address book and stickies. as for linking your e-mail from work to your bb you will need to contact bb or maybe another will answer you question here. it isn't particularly difficult though. if you want to go through outlook as long as you have windows office for mac you should be alright. just a few changes.
