pull BB photos onto MacBook

We have the latest BB Desktop software for MAC - and it syncs fine with contacts and calendar. BUT I cannot see how I can move the photos off the BB onto the MAC. I have seen the saem basic set-up on a PC and it DOES access the media (photos) folder but I don't see it on the MAC Desktop.

Am I missing something here? OR - and this seems risky though - can I install the BB Desktop software on my PC laptop - attach the BB however NOT do any sort of sync whatsoever but still "see" the photos on the BB and move them onto the PC and hopefully not expunge every other bit of data from the BB in the process?

Select/Open the actual blackberry icon on the desktop. Go to DCIM. You should be able ot view the photos there and drag the to iphoto or where ever you desire.

Is there a corresponding way to get the BB contacts off/on as a csv file?
