I know! This story seems to re-run daily. Hope they can turn it around. Time will tell.

It seemed like the most drastic (and current) report of all. Let's hope it turns around. Not a big fan of the Droid / iOS products personally.

I think it can turn around. RIM may never again be the major player they once were.

But I'm afraid none of it will happen with the leadership currently in place... there's no faith in the two.

The most drastic story again.

If it's true Amazon's working on a phone, would it make sense for them to buy RIM?

Carrier IQ should buy RIM, and we watch some people's heads explode :O

These articles remind me of all of the "The Euro is Doomed" articles that CNN keeps posting.

You'd have to be a blind man not to, but denial is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. I suspect it's mainly denial that got Rim where they are right now. Denial as in "we don't need to compete against the iPhone or Android". I read the denial here for a couple of years - "the BB is for "serious" users, the iPhone is a toy" and "enterprises won't switch to the iPhone or Android".

This article talks about the sales numbers and they are brutal.

This is an astounding statistic, a company almost has to try to be bad to achieve this:
"The BlackBerrys share of the smartphone market in the US dropped to 10 percent in 2011 from 49 percent in 2009, according to Canalys, a research firm."
