If the sky is blue because of light refracting from water, shouldn't the color change with the humidity?

juwaack68 08-01-2008 04:32 PM

The sky is blue because if it were green nobody would know where to stop mowing.

Sheesh.

When you get married, do you also get "vorced", since when you get un-married you get di-vorced?

Why is my BlackBerry called a Curve, when it is flat?

TeritaM 08-02-2008 08:31 AM

If this is reality I want my fantasy back.

Shouldn't bring home women on Friday night when they have to get up for work at 7:30am. I have never hated a BlackBerry as much as I did when her alarm went off.

Why do they have Interstate Highways in Hawaii?

Jack Handy had some of the best random thoughts to ponder, i.e.:

"For mad scientists who keep brains in jars, here's a tip: why not
add a slice of lemon to each jar, for freshness?"

When was the only time Air Force One took off, but never landed? (in real life)

JSanders 08-02-2008 12:36 PM

Was it when President Nixon resigned?

NickfromIL 08-02-2008 12:39 PM

You are the winner!!!

It is great trivia, most people do not know that he resigned from mid-air, causing the airplane to lose it's designation of Air Force One

JSanders 08-02-2008 12:41 PM

...it took off with the President (as Air Force One) and landed with only another citizen (and became only another Air Force jet). ONLY when THE President is aboard, is it called Air Force One.

Johnny909 08-02-2008 09:56 PM

wasn't this rant about some silly person who modified their BB in an offensive manner?

or what.
