If the seller used illegal software to change, or attempt to change the PIN on the device, either you or the seller is out of luck, the device likely has been blocked or the PIN suspended if it duplicated an existing PIN.

Get your money back from the seller.

in fact i asked several mobile stores, all of them told me that i was fooled, but there is one guy who told me that he can do something with the software that will bring the old pin back, but he asked for a huge amount of money,,, so do u know something like this?

Looks like you're SOL. Try getting in touch with RIM. But I doubt they would be willing to help you.

Go back to where you bought it from, and give the guy a beat down.

It prob won't get the PIN back, but you'll sure as hell feel better about it.

Destroy his "illegal" equipment while your at it so you can feel a little self-righteous about this.

lol

All the more reason to only buy used BBs via in-person and verify that it will work at your local phone store.
