Stupid Question -- But it's bugging the **** outta me
I went with my brother to pick up a new Telus handset as his contract was up, he decided on an HTC, however while there I was in a small argument with the rep as to whether Blackberries can open PDF attachments. I know for a fact that my Rogers 8310 can and I told her so, she adamantly refused to believe and finally chalked it up to rogers being able to open them but telus blackberries cannot. This makes no sense as I assume that the base blackberry OS's would be similar in features.
The fact is that it really doesn't matter to me either way but it sparked my curiosity and I have no Telus blackberry to test on so I was wondering if someone here could confirm or debunk her claim, just so I can stop thinking about it. TIA James |

Not a BB limitation Possible a limitation of the network |
Yeah I kinda figured that the blackberry itself should be able to do it, but it's odd that they would block them as a network limitation. Guess maybe what she should have said was that the blackberry could view PDF's but their network won't allow it.
Anyways thanks for the response, at least I know I wasn't completely off my rocker. James |
They don't block them, she was wrong.
Chalk it up to an unedumacated sales rep. |
Telus is a company of fools. You can explain it that simply.
