Verizon Tech Support
INormally don’t rant like this but.....
I just called VZW Wireless Data Support and had a rep there tell me that: It was normal for your phone to reboot whenever you went outside/dropped your Bluetooth connection. I then asked if he had heard anything about a new firmware upgrade and his response what that "it’s up in the air due to what’s going on with RIM. I then asked for a level two rep and he stated that he was one. What a sad day for VZW... |
same deal with me. They swapped out my phone once because they never heard of the problem. Waste of time. Waiting patiently for the new firmware.

Same Issue
thanks for bringing this subject up my parents are running into the same issue with their 7130e's that they've had for 2-3 weeks now and use with a bluetooth headset and when they disconnect having a reset... I'm going to have them take them in and get new ones!
|
Hmmm... I've always had flawless service from Verizon...
|
That's why I upgraded the firmware in my Verizon 7130e with the Bell Mobility upgrade. I had to do another enterprise activation, but no more Bluetooth reboot issues. We will be waiting forever on Verizon.

1-866-788-9387, enter in you mobile number, then select Option 2 four times on the IVR If you are talking to a retard, call back until you get someone smart, there are alot of good techs there, but you have to find them sometimes. The Seattle (Kirkland) Office is the best ;) |
I downloaded the bell software becasue EVDO wasnt stable and bluetooth was ok. After I inistalled the new software havent had any problems at all verizon's software just casues problems...
