BB Messenger Issue

I discovered this morning that my BB MSG icon was missing, was there last night. I tried to reinstall it but I'm getting this error when I try to open it:

Uncaught exception: Missing resource files

I've tried to reinstall after this and was still getting this error. How can I fix it? I tried uninstalling the current one but it froze on me so I just tried the reinstall and got the error.

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

Uninstall it from the desktop manager

Then reinstall it

Well I rebooted my Tour and got the "reload software 552" error. Dang it!!! I'm at work so my phone is useless the rest of the day.

I am now convinced that BBM 5.0 is an Al Qaeda plot to throw the US economy into total chaos. With Blackberry smart phones disabled all accross the country how will anything get accomplished!! Slay the bastards!!

Hmmm..quite the analogy. I'm not sure what to make of it. :? I would assume that you are not an active user and if it were not for my kids, I wouldn't be either.......now about that analogy...

When you do a battery pull, leave it out for over 30 seconds. I had a similar problem and kept doing a battery pull and it didn't help. I called blackberry and the guy told me to leave the battery out for over 30 sec and it worked. Good luck
