Help ! ´Uncaught exception: DSSMA invalid state (5): 2
 

This just showed up on my 8820, everytime I try to access my messages (email).

any ideas on how i can starte reading my messages again?

I don't know about the error message--Do a search on that exact error message. But before you do that, try a hard reset. With the power on, remove the battery for at least 30 seconds.

Everything I have read say a battery pull fixes the problem. If it does that for you, then make sure you delete your email on the BB as a corrupt email or email file is the cause.

sure enough, this solved the problem, this also happened at the same time later on my pearl, probably a network problem here in lisbon portugal.
