Don't try this at home!! :)
I own a 9860 and of course a Playbook 64GB.
I have my own SBS 2011 server that also has BES Express 5.0.3.41 installed, my phone is synced to my BES Express. For kicks and giggles I wanted to see what would happen if I went into the messaging options under default configuration in BES for my BB device and add extra folders that I have emails ruled to be delivered to. One of my folders is to the SBS mailing list that the SBS Diva manages. Anyhow to my surprise after I make the changes on BES within 2 minutes the last 7 days of emails in the folders I selected appeared on my Playbook in my Microsoft Exchange account. Pretty cool eh? Now the big question is, if i didn't have my 9860 connected to BES Express what would I need to do to get my PB to work with it? There has to be some kind of work around to get it to connect to BES if it's already talking to it in some way. I thought maybe trying to do a some kind of cable sync but with the BES server with the PB as there isn't technically a EA Sync option, or doing a sync with cable/DM to BES? A. |

HUH?
Are you using Bridge or EAS on playbook? With both I can see my sub folders of inbox. |

I just discovered if you are using EAS and have a BES 5.0.x server onsite (may only work with 5.0.3) when you add other sub folders in BES to reconcile they also start populating on the Playbook; at least at first the last x days of messages. X = whatever you set your EAS to grab. And the messages continue to reconcile as new ones come in. A. |
