8800 tethering GPRS or EDGE
 

Hi,

I am currently thinking about switching from PPC(Verizon) to BB(Cingular/Tmobile) but in doing my research I've saw several mentions about how BB 8800 uses GPRS not EDGE network when tethering. This is a big deal for me since I use the tethering option very frequently on my Verizon Samsung i730. The speed I get on my samsung is awesome. Can someone confirm if the BB 8800 uses GPRS or EDGE and what kind of speed do you get?
BB 8800 looks awesome and I hope to change it soon.
