Transferring Photos via USB Cable
Good Morning: I am the (now former) owner of a Blackberry Curve 8530. I just upgraded to a Stratosphere Droid. I still have the Blackberry (although deactivated) and I have a lot of photos of my kids, etc. still on the Blackberry. I plugged a USB Cable into my PC and it searched and installed the Blackberry Hardware with no issue and displayed a "removable disk: M" in my drive list. When I click on the drive (expecting it to be a mass-storage-drive) it does not recognize that there is anything even there. I get a message saying no disk is present. I did notice that there is no memory card in the blackberry if that matters, yet I can still view all the photos on the phone.
Any thoughts or ideas on how to retrieve these photos? (remember, I cannot email or bluetooth them) Thank you! |
Re: Transferring Photos via USB Cable
Download Desktop manager from RIM and use the media manager to move the files to the PC. DM is free. you will need to know the password on the BB to do this.
