Blackberry Messenger

Currently, I use my own blackberry for work and write off my bill. My company is going to issue company-owned blackberrys and pay the bill. My question is . . . Can my company see to whom and when I sent a message using blackberry messenger? Can they read what I wrote?

Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

The answer is simple, yes.

That's only if he is on BES right, which he probably will be but if you are on BIS then they can't right?

It can be restricted and read by your BES Administrator as far as I am aware. Bad news

Correct. This can only be done while on a BES.

The application can be restricted if the BES Admin chooses. However, logging of BBM messages is NOT as straightforward as logging of standard PIN messages. Many BES Admins do not bother, as it is an unreliable logging method and generates a LOT of mail.
