Skip when shuffling

I know this has been asked a while back, but I'm bringing it up again in the hopes that a solution may have come into existence since that time.

In iTunes, you can edit the properties of an item (music, audiobook, podcast, etc.) and check the option "Skip when shuffling." Thus, when you are shuffling songs, that item will be skipped. This is obviously helpful for audiobooks and podcasts because when you're shuffling songs, you don't want to have to keep skipping forward every time it lands on an audiobook or podcast.

The question: is there a way to do this on my BB?

If not, is there a way to edit the properties of an mp3 to include info that tells the media playing program to skip that mp3 when shuffling?

There is no skip option that I know of. You can accomplish what you are after by creating playlists that don't include the audio books or podcasts though.

Darn. You'd think that after all this time RIM would take a page from the Apple playbook and include the ability to "Skip when shuffling." Oh well.

I'm already using that as a workaround, but it doesn't work quite as good.
