Re: Answers with attitudes??
James, don't waste your time complaining about the behaviour of the elitist uber-geek crowd on BBF. It has always been that way and always will be. They are a special breed that seems only to like other uber-geeks. Just be glad you're not one of them......can you imagine how bad that would suck?? Read this one quickly because it will surely be deleted by "them".

Re: Answers with attitudes??
gadgetfanatic is a plain and simple troll who shows up ever so often to bash this site and moderators. I guess he gets his rocks off that way.
But he keeps coming back. He hasn't been banned from here and very easily could be. |
Re: Answers with attitudes??
I'm not defending anyone, or taking any sides, but it's the same story on each and every message board on the internet that has an open membership. In fact, if you talk to enough people in person, you'll feel the same way. People are people, the internet just bundles them all up in a nice searchable format for us all.
People, ya gotta hate 'em! LOL |

And then ya go and marry one.

Is this in the running for thread of the year?
Question: Is Lunkhead elitiest? |
Re: Answers with attitudes??
Online message boards and comments give people to anonymously act the way they with they could act all the time. Some are nice and/or helpful, many are the opposite. It sucks, but that's the way it is.

...and you've become nothing but a troll since then, and you're one of the ones to "troll" through the forum here making snide, worthless argumentative comments. That's a "troll".
So, if you want to stick around, clean it up and stop the crap. You've been warned before. |

Re: Answers with attitudes??
I missed this entire thread but I will throw in my two cents.
I can see what the OP is trying to say, but the OP isn't taking into consideration the hundreds of users that have come here asking how to snoop into their significant other's device. Or how to circumvent their employer's policies. And the countless number of them that have pretended to be someone that has had their device "hacked" to get information on how to do this. So, I guess being cautious about giving out information to the wrong people gives you an attitude these days. It's hard to tell what the user's intentions are or if they're sincere in their request. So, more times than not, long-term users of the site sway to the side of get as much information as possible before giving out too much information. Which, in my opinion, is the best case. |
Re: Answers with attitudes??
And don't forget those first time posters saying they all of a sudden forgot their password and are asking how to get around the password protection without wiping or disabling the device.
