my ex husband and my ex lawyer downloaded spyware into my Blackberry. they listened to all of my phone conversations, got my phone list, tracked my by the GPS and terrorized me and my two children. There should be some way to prevent this. He has done it more than once. I have a password to protect my phone and hope he cannot download anymore spyware, but i am not sure. This was very costly for me not only financially but in other ways too. I had no idea for the longest how they were able to tell every move i was making. I has been horrible ::x

You need to talk to the police and another lawyer, not rant on here, if this is a true story.

FYI someone had to have had hands on the BlackBerry to do this.

Also FYI, the BlackBerry can be set to require the password every time to install apps. When set, the password is required to install an app even if the device is unlocked.

And I agree with the above. You should be talking to an attorney if you aren't already.

if you think there is spy software installed on it, you should wipe it before using it anymore.
