Hi There,
Is there an application that doesn't automatically send where you are at a given moment. I don't have unlimited data, but I would like to know where my child is. Something that would be beneficial is if I can go browser based and just click show me where they are, and at that moment the phone only sends a signal, and doesn't send a continuous signal every five seconds or so.

The amount of data that BlackBerry Protect sends out is negligable, I've tracked it. Unless you have a 1 MB data plan, you won't have a problem. Just make sure to configure it to only backup over WiFi.
