I am a true phone whore. I won't lie. I've had a cell phone since I was 15, and in the 13 years since, I've had something like 450 phones. I've tapered off significantly in the last three years (I actually used my 9000 for 6 months straight, and my 9700 for 8), but the devices I've bought have been much more expensive, and I very rarely buy devices on contract anymore.

I'm not sure, but I think it's something that idiots sign so that they can get really expensive devices for near nil.

I gave up on contracts a long time ago... Now I just pay full price for them...

The 7290 was a real Tank.... You could throw it up against a brick wall and if anything, it would damage the wall... LOL

That's why I recently bought a couple of them for $5 each in perfect shape! Unfortunately after about 5 minutes the magic wore off, forgot how clunky that wheel was. Crazy how far we've come in what seems like a few short years ;)
