RS: Top 100 People That Are Changing America.
The RS 100: Agents of Change : Rolling Stone
I posted the list of names, if you click their name it will take you to the article discussing what Rolling Stone claims they're changing. Your thoughts? |
Leans way too heavily toward pop culture, but I suppose that's what one should expect from RS.
For example, if I were to make a list of 100 people who are changing America... I am not immediately certain who would be on it, but it would not include Taylor Swift. (WTF.) |
That's a curious list. Lil Wayne next to Al Gore? The Arcade Fire next to Bill Gates? Really, RS?
Also, some of the links are messed up. I tried to click on Andy Samberg and Sacha Baron Cohen because I wondered what exactly they were changing and I was redirected to totally different people not even close to the numbers I clicked. |
They have 3 to 4 persons listed on each page... If you click a persons name, you may have to scroll down to see them...
I agree, very interesting list... Kris |
Some pages have multiple people on the same page, I believe the link takes you to the beginning of that page and you need to scroll to the actual person you're looking for.
|
Ah, serves me right for glancing at the pages too quickly. The first one I clicked on had the person at the top of the page, so I'd assumed there was one page for each person. Never mind then!
|
Is RS still considered to be a significant reporter of American culture? Seems like their profile has diminished over the years, but that may be because I'm old and out of touch.

I agree with this comment by tentacle.
