downloaded. installed. No icon?????

Same here on first install! I re downloaded and installed and this time the icon shows. It did not ask me to reboot after the second install either.

Seems to be pretty cool but it is slow at loading each screen while on wifi. Hopefully this speeds up.

i just did the same thing. didnt ask for reboot but still no fing icon

did it put the icon in download folder?

Oh I also checked that box that said something about permissions before the install. I didn't change any of the settings but maybe that helped?

not getting any love. could it be .266? its been great otherwise. you would think 1.6 would be 5.0 ready. but rim sucks at software

ok. now deleting all and trying download again

worked. deleted all facebook. rebooted. downloaded again. icon shows

This version is WAY better than 1.5. Not a huge fan of the way it is laid out but so much more functionality without getting tossed to the browser...

ugh no icon for me either.

UPDATE: got it working after the 3rd download and reboot.

installed, i kinda liked 1.5 better for the sole fact that it defaulted to the messages screen. i wish there was a view option on the default screen..
