BB cabable network at .4.0 - what does it mean?
Hi.
Can anyone give me short explanation of what a term "Blackberry enabled network" means. Particulary in context of BB 4.0 which gives access to APN settings and should give access to WAP/HTTP without BES. If I have full GPRS access (WAP/HTTP) which works on GSM/GPRS phone - what can prevent it from work on Blackberry? I'd expect Blackberry to behave as typical GPRS phone. Looks like this is the case as seen on topics: http://www.blackberryforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=2315 http://www.blackberryforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=207 Regards Wojtek |
Blackberry mail, calendar and such, require your phone provider to have a contract with RIM to use their system.
Without that, any blackberry specific functions on the phone won't work wirelessly. |
