Using Blackberry Internationally
 

hi everyone-

I have a 7290 from t-mobile and while I know that it will work in many european and asian countries (right?) I am curious if just having it on results in constant data transfer, even if there is no download/upload. I have my email set to push via a filter in gmail, so it comes in real time.

I ask because t-mobile charge by the meg ($15 per) which doesn't seem too bad, unless leaving it active will result in constant data exchange in which case I'll just leave it off until I want to send an email.
