OS 4.5 for the 8830???
 

Where Can I find a copy of the 4.5 OS for my 8830. I am just printed to instruction but can not find a good download for my bb8830. I need the 4.5 os

There is no "official" release of 4.5 for the 8830. You will not find a link here for the OS. Your best bet would be to do a google search. I am running 4.5.0.101 on my 8830.

Google is your friend.

As Jconyers stated if you google around, you will find. It was posted on the news vesrion of this site for about a day.

Be warned if you ever call VZW up for help, and they find out you installed a beta, they will automatically blame the OS on any problems that you are having.. this is why I am going to just wait it out..

I would assume you are correct Triforce66, but:

1) Its pretty easy to go back to an old version of the OS without losing your data. You could switch back until you issues is fixed and then go back to the beta version again.

2) Tech support is rarely helpful in any case.

i installed the newest 4.5 for my8830 (101) and it restarts occasionally...very bizzare...also how do u view youtube videos on the bb?
