Blackberry Messenger Help

How do I use BB messenger. I can't add contacts to the list, it just goes to my address book and won't let me add. What is the difference between BB Messenger and regular SMS messenging? I do not have a data plan. Thought it would be cool to have a BB only contact list for separate messenges!

Does anybody know the answer to his, or does nobody give a rip? there's been many to read it but no replies. Why read it if you don't anticipate a reply? I'm going to stop using this forum if it isn't any help. I think it is a valid question for someone who is new to Blackberry.

BB Messenger is IM from BB to BB only. And you need a data plan to use it.

And don't get ticked off at people for not reading this. They probably read the title, wanted to read your post, and didn't have an answer. Threatening to leave won't make people answer your questions.

damn dude, get a grip. 15 people out of a couple thousand read your post and you're throwing a hissy fit because no one replied yet?

first of all, the difference btwn sms and berry msgr is that messenger uses PIN numbers to send the msgs back and forth hence if your contacts PIN numbers arent included in your address book entries you won't be able to add them. and a piece of advice, try searching next time.

That's the kind of response I expected from you. I see alot of smart As@ comments on this site to people who are new ,or really ignorant to Blackberry knowledge like myself. A friendly answer without throwing in "Gee try searching next time because that's been posted like 100 times" or something; would be appreciated by many

And obviously my reply got your two's attention or you wouldn't have taken the time to reply. I'm by myself in this Blackberry adventure. None of my friends, family, or coworkers have one. I'm learning as I go.

And if you don't don't have a BB data plan, there is absolutly NO way to send an invite.
