PocketDay Competition?

I have been using a Windows based PDA with Pocketbreeze and am possibly changing to BB. I LOVE Pocketbreeze on my Axim - I have found PocketDay, and am trying out the Trial now. What else is available that is similar, so I can do some comparisons?

So you ran Pocketbreeze on a PDA that would freeze?

For those of us who don't know what Pocketbreeze does, what are you looking for an application to do?

Sorry, I thought the comparison to PocketDay would be enough....

Pocketbreeze is an app that runs at startup to combine your calendar and to-do list into one.

By far the best thing I ever got for my Axim, and it would go a loooooong way toward making the BB an easy replacement for it. (I'm struggling with making the change from Windows Mobile to Blackberry)

PocketDay essentially does all those things and so much more...

There is no real competition

I have tried any and all programs that seemed similar to PocketDay and in my opinion there is no competition, PD is in a class of it's own.

I use a BB 7290 and an iPaq 4155 (had used PocketInformant on the 4155). The PocketPC offers so much more than a BB unless you need a BB for secure Exchange email, I'd stick with the PocketPC. There are new PocketPC models being released from HP, Motorola and HTC with keyboards. IMHO, the BB shines in getting a secure access to Exchange email, has good battery life for a PDA phone, is built well. Everything else fall short, sometimes far short, when compared to the PocketPC.

That said, PocketDay in my book is a must have application, the PIM on the BB is horrible especially the task list. You can't even copy an appointment without PocketDay. I haven't found any other applications like PocketDay. Berry411 is another excellent application. I use both of these applications everyday, with PocketDay being the main interface I use everytime I use my BB. Unfortunately there seems to be limitations in what is available to developers so PocketDay can't do things like using categories in tasks and some email message limitations. No big deal for me though.

No, I haven't seen any other products like PocketDay. The developers have been very good with support and adding features. PocketDay isn't as pretty as some of the PocketPC PIM applications but it is the best available for the BB and gets the job done.
