application compatibility issue, requesting help!
 

Hello i am black berry 8220 flip user and i was wondering what kind of game formats would be compatible with my device, i have found ".cod" and ".alx" files but my berry doesn't seem to support them. Any help would be really appreciated.

Those files need to be loaded via Desktop Manager.
For over the air liading, you need .jad

btw is there by any chance a site to download ".jad" game applications that are free and down loadable directly?

eyobed, I'm pretty sure the 8220 supports OTA updates and downloads (like from Blackberry World) I know I've downloaded an application from there before.

I'm not a gamer, so I really don't know any other game sites, but I think the 8220 should be able to download OTA from anywhere, just like any other Blackberry.

You will need a BB data plan to download OTA however.
