How many of you carry a BB and a phone?

Just curious how many of you besides my self carry 2 devices. I'm an 8700 and a razr guy!!!

justin.culp 04-11-2006 11:12 AM

I carry two BB's: 8700 and a 7550.

junior1790 04-11-2006 11:15 AM

thats alot for the pockets or the belt. Two belt clips or are your pockets full???

DuckWingDuck 04-11-2006 11:30 AM

I've got the razr for the weekends when my girlfriend bans me from using the BB (I am also not allowed to bring it into her apartment). But it's an either/or not at the same time.

Do you swap out the SIM card or have two plans?

I have my old small Nokia that would be great for this.

I just have the BB, and will probably always will.

8700 on the belt and an i830 in the pocket for DC. I'm a volunteer firefighter and we use D/C alot on the fireground or training. I switched to a boost pay as you go and this combo is working out great for me, so far!!

:)

yeah i use a 7290 for email and a 860 for voice.. i refuse to talk into a calculator with email...lmao and i think that blue tooth head set just looks silly.. im use to 2 devices.. been doing it since the timeport 2way pager

gadgetfanatic 04-11-2006 12:17 PM

I use a 7100 on the weekends and my 8700 during the week but would really like to have a small flip like a razr for phone calls and one of the bb's for email and txt msgs all the time. I thought about adding one of the 9.99 lines to my cing acct and having my calls forwarded to it so I would have a separate phone for calls. The only problem would be when I make a call from it the new number would show on everybodies caller ID and confuse the heck out of them.

Why on earth would you want/need two at one time?

LMAO... I don't understand why anyone would use 2 devices. To me, that's exactly the point - to have a single device that handles everything I need.

Geez.......easy.....I'm a software developer...they're lucky I wear pants at all. The 7550 is a work device owned by the USAF and I can't do anything personal to it.

teamcrn 04-11-2006 01:02 PM

well the perfect example is if your on the phone with a client and need to send a email.. if you have one device its not possible.. in my line of work of event planning i have to multi task alot.. so i find myself on the phone while sending emails out

rjhouck 04-11-2006 01:09 PM

Only one phone is enough for me. I am used to small phones that I can put in my pants pocket. This 8700 is required by my company and I think it is too big.

I compose emails while on the phone all the time. Use speakerphone, compose an email, send, done. It will go out as soon as you complete your call.

teamcrn 04-11-2006 01:22 PM

yeah but you cant get emails while on the phone.. cant be on the phone and use data at the same time.. hey it works for me.. i dress in urban fashion so my pockets and belt is big enough...lmao but need to get and send emails while holding phone calls... i tryed the all in one but found if i sent a mass email and a phone call would come in my bb would clock for awhile..

BBRaffey 04-11-2006 01:22 PM

I have two, only use the BB when in the US but have an undocked Motorola V600 with SIM cards for various countries when I travel. Cingular roaming charges while out of the country are just nuts. Prepaid SIMS while in Europe is the way to go.

junior1790 04-11-2006 01:38 PM

c'mon whats more productive than being on a call with a customer and answering e-mails from another...
