Downgrading to a previous firmware for Z30!
Recently got upgraded to a Z30 and didn't realise it was set to automatic updates.
Imagine my delight when it ran out of power yesterday and then upgraded itself to the latest firmware, NOT. It's b****y awful and I don't like it one bit. It's nice that they've finally listened to me moaning about how stupid it is that the video camera has autofocus on it and they've finally made it fixed focus, but now I can't tap the screen 'anywhere' to take a picture. I have to press a button on the screen now. NOT CONVENIENT!!!! There are other issues like having to swipe the screen to light it up and then swipe it again to get to my icons - how RIDICULOUS! So. If anyone can tell me how to go back to the previous firmware I'd be most appreciative please. My Blackberry is starting to resemble an Android phone and if I wanted one of those, I'd have one of those and NOT a Blackberry. I'm now on 10.3.1.1565 and would like to go back to the previous one. Many Thanks David |

Upgrading OS10 devices using Autoloader - BlackBerry Support Community Forums
use an auto loader to do it but it will wipe your current stuff and a back up wont work |
