BlackBerry 7130c + Comcast via Browser
 

I have Comcast accounts that I want to access through the BlackBerry Browser to get email tthat I do not want to download to my BB.

I "spoke" (online chat) to a tech person at Comcast person and they could not directly help me. they kept sending me to pages i have already been. Here is what happens:
I can sign in fine to Comcast from any computer. I have been unsuccessful trying to sign in through my BlackBerry.

I have tried to do this by going to comcast.net (which is hard on the PDA to download this page because it has so much on it but eventually does) and by accessing the simpler sign in page.

I can get this second simpler sign in page and enter the UN & PW but I end up with a blank screen or it returns me to the same page as if I hadn't signed in.

Has anyone tried this and had it work? If so, what URL do you go to to sign in?

I know Comcast uses Flash which my BB cannot see but on the Home page of Comcast, it will display everything but the Flash parts.

I could not get a definite answer from Comcast if the email page (once you sign in) has something on it making it not possible to sign in from the BB.

Anyone know?

i would try an aftermarket browser such as opera. links to which can be found by searching these forums.
