BES Management Pack SCOM 2007

Has anyone utilized the management pack for SCOM 2007? Blackberry doesn't have one, but I found one by Quest Software that looks good. Curious to see if anyone has used it and what they think. Thanks!

BES Management Pack for SCOM 2007

You might want to check out Zenprise since we also have a management pack for SCOM 2007. The management pack will forward any alerts we detect across BES, Exchange, SQL, and Active Directory into the SCOM console. Additionally, you can walk through the step by step resolution instructions that we provide directly in the SCOM console. BTW, Zenprise is also a Gold Certified Microsoft partner.

I'm not a Boxtone customer yet ('cause I don't have the money in my budget.... ) but I can tell ya that you can't go wrong with them. They've got a great product and excellent folks working for there.

If I ever get my budget approved with Boxtone in my funding..... *sigh*

Opslogix Intelligent Management Pack for Blackberry

This week, at the Microsoft Management Summit in Las Vegas, Opslogix announced the release of their Intelligent Management Pack for Blackberry for System Center Operations Manager 2007.

Almost 70% of today’s workforce relies on mobile messaging. More than half of those companies use BlackBerry devices. The Intelligent Management Pack for Blackberry checks the status of your BlackBerry Enterprise Server infrastructure as a whole, checking every individual component providing a comprehensive state and performance view for your Blackberry Enterprise Server infrastructure. Furthermore, it not only alerts & reports on BlackBerry Enterprise Server issues, but also monitors the most critical component; the SRP connection to RIM. Opslogix’ mission is to deliver Intelligent Management Packs for Microsoft System Center. No more hassle using converted packs or high maintenance connectors / services.
