Cool. Looks kinda plain for a blackberry though.

Wirelessly posted (T-Mobile 8120)

They're going for the basic flip phone look but are carrying over the awesome BB OS functionality :)

Brad4d 08-06-2008 01:33 AM

I'm happy they kept the track ball.

strike2tamu 08-06-2008 11:29 AM

Very nice.

ecooper 08-06-2008 11:35 AM

I like the black better.

mudguts 08-07-2008 01:48 PM

I think that it looks interesting.. I prefer the flip but I can't stand that keyboard.

dancy.ca/blog/?p=57 - kind've a review with pics.

I like the black one better as well. Can't wait to see it in more colors, though!

The Blackberry OS finally gets rid of that cartoon-ish appearance of the MyFaves app. Now it looks professional, not like some kind of SideKick app. Very slick package, that 8220.

anyone have a clue to how much this thing is going to cost to buy outright?

I would like to get one but it doesnt look like at&t will be bringing one with wifi...

thoughts?

beninark 08-11-2008 06:13 PM

hmmm thanks for the heads up $600 no contract price...yikes

I guess I'll wait till AT&T comes out with one...when I bought my 8100 almost 2 years back it was $100 more expensive to get a 1 year contract...I think I'll do that I suppose.

if that same logic would apply, then it would be a $150 phone...that is a little bit more manageable...

looks nice but I dont really like the fact that BB got into the whole flip phone business, good marketing I guess, get more users for BlackBerry.

me neither, but i think this will indeed be a great move to the end-users market

I think it is a fantastic idea. Now it's becoming less of a computer feel and more towards the phone, like I feel the flip phones feel like.

Sneakerholic 08-16-2008 11:52 AM

Seems like its more for the ladies like the pearl

moorken 09-05-2008 08:27 AM

The BlackBerry Kid 09-05-2008 08:57 AM

can't wait to see the themes people will come up with for them.

Johnny909 09-05-2008 09:50 AM

I think my wife will want one ASAP when it is finally released in the USA. Until then, she has to deal with her LG.

noeffectx 09-06-2008 09:20 AM
