Trouble staying connected to WIFI...

Hey guys, new to the forum (and the bold) and I'm already having issues with it. I was originally on Tmobile because my condo has notoriously poor reception and the Tmo Hotspot@Home was the perfect solution.

Long story short... I ended up breaking my curve with Tmobile and they wanted me to pay $140 for another curve. I decided I wanted a change and switched to the bold with the notion that I'd just forward my calls to my home phone. Everything up to that point is working out just fine.

Here's where I run into trouble. The bold will connect to my wifi just fine and can dl, receive/send e-mails, bbm, text etc just fine... but it won't stay connected! Every few minutes, it will lose the signal, and have to search for it again. Its so irritating.

Does anyone else have this problem or is there a solution? I've already updated to v 4.6.0.451, and the problem still exists.

Is it my router? Its a tmobile Branded linksys specifically designed to work with Hotspots@home. But for all intents and purposes, it works just like any other router I've owned.

Please help a noob out!

Wirelessly posted (MY 8900)

9 times out of 10 there is a router issue. It doesn't matter that it is a "hotspot at home" router because it is just a linksys with tmobiles settings.

Log onto ur router and reset ut to factory settings and see if that helps

What kind of wireless encryption are you using?
If you're using WPA2, try again with WPA. That helped me with my wifi.

I'm using WPA-Personal.

I've also reset my router but now I can't even get internet on my pc. I think I'll have to call cox up and go through the set up again.
