RSA token import issue

I am trying to push an RSA token to a 8900 running v4.6.1.250. I can configure the BES (Bes server version 5.x) user with the software token serial and the device recieves it however the RSA blackberry application (version 3.0.2) does not import the token.
Sending the token via email as an attachment also fails when attempting the import on the 8900.
Does anyone have any information on correcting this or for that matter any advice for successful methods of pushing RSA tokens?

Are you using the java tool to push the token or are you putting in the RSA serial number in BES?

You need to use the java tool to get the software token on the RSA SecurID client.

Putting the RSA serial number in BES will get the token on the BlackBerry's built-in client.

RSA Securid token response

I have tried using both methods via BES user software token and the java tool from my workstation. Thank you for the information regarding the BES method.
When I push via the java tool I get the following error?
C:\Temp\RSA>java -classpath c:\Temp\RSA\Pushtoken.jar pushtoken -edonovan.elder@
aimco.alberta.ca C:\Temp\RSA\x-21307AC1-token1.sktid -h10.179.176.27

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Resolved

Working with RSA support it appears that after you distribute the token file in blackberry 3.0 format it needs to be renamed with a x-RIMDevice prefix.
Send the x-RIMDevicetokenfilename.sdtid as an attachment in an email to the blackberry device and import.
